Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before enrolling. By submitting the admission form and making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

1. Admission & Enrolment

• Submission of the admission form does not guarantee enrolment. Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of the full course fee and a written confirmation from our team.
• Polyphonic Souls reserves the right to decline admission at its discretion.
• For students interested in the Trinity College London certification path, enrolment in the Trinity preparation programme is subject to an internal assessment conducted by our faculty. Students who do not meet the required standard will be placed in the beginner course before proceeding to Trinity preparation. This is done to ensure every student is genuinely prepared before appearing for the examination.

2. Course Structure & Duration

• Each level of the guitar course is 3 months in duration, comprising 18 classes — 12 practical sessions and 6 theory sessions. The full programme spans three stages: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced, each containing two levels.
• Course content, batch timings, and session formats are subject to change at the discretion of Souls Academy. Students will be notified of any significant changes in advance.

3. Fees & Payment

• Course fees must be paid in full prior to the commencement of classes, unless a specific payment arrangement has been agreed upon in writing with our team.
• Fees are non-transferable and cannot be applied to a different course or student without prior written approval from Souls Academy.
• All fees are inclusive of course material provided digitally. Any additional resources, instruments, or materials required for the course are the student's own responsibility.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

• All fees paid to Souls Academy are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to change of mind, personal reasons, relocation, or inability to attend classes.
• If Souls Academy cancels the course for any reason beyond the student's control, the fee paid will be credited toward a future batch or course at the student's discretion.

5. Attendance & Missed Classes

• Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes. In the event of an absence, students must inform the academy at least 24 hours in advance.
• Makeup classes for missed sessions are subject to instructor and slot availability and are not guaranteed. Repeated absences without prior notice may result in forfeiture of those sessions without compensation.

6. Student Conduct

• Students are expected to maintain respectful behaviour towards instructors, fellow students, and academy staff at all times — whether in-person or in online sessions.
• Souls Academy reserves the right to terminate enrolment without refund in cases of misconduct, harassment, or behaviour deemed disruptive to the learning environment.

7. Online Classes

• For online sessions, students are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection, a functioning device, and a suitable environment for learning. Technical difficulties on the student's end will not be counted as a missed class on the academy's part.
• Online sessions are conducted live and are not recorded or shared unless explicitly stated by the academy.

8. Equipment & Instrument

• Students are required to own their own guitar before commencing classes. Souls Academy does not provide instruments. Guidance on purchasing the right instrument can be provided upon request before enrolment.

9. Intellectual Property

• All course content, materials, curricula, and resources shared by Souls Academy are the intellectual property of Polyphonic Souls. Students may not reproduce, distribute, or share any course material without prior written consent from Souls Academy.

10. Photography & Video Consent

• By enrolling, students consent to photographs or videos being taken during in-person or online sessions for internal use by Souls Academy. Students who wish to opt out must indicate this on the admission form. This consent does not extend to public sharing without separate written approval from the student or guardian.

11. Privacy

• Personal information collected through the admission form is used solely for the purpose of enrolment, communication, and course administration. Souls Academy does not share student data with third parties. For full details, refer to our Privacy Policy at polyphonicsouls.com.

12. Changes to Terms

• Souls Academy reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Students will be notified of any material changes. Continued enrolment after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from enrolment or the use of Souls Academy services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
